Introduction

Mickleham is a village and civil parish in the Mole Valley, Surrey, that lies midway between the towns of Dorking and Leatherhead.  The civil parish includes Norbury Park, Mickleham Downs, and parts of Box Hill  (click here for Parish Boundary map).  Mickleham village includes a Conservation Area and there are many listed buildings both in the village and elsewhere in the Parish.  The whole parish lies in the heart of the Surrey Hills AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) with its many acres of protected woodland.
